The owners of a local convenience store in Hampshire were fined more than £35,000 for rat infested premises.
There were very poor pest control records which indicated a continuing problem which was repeatedly ignored. The shop was closed for a preliminary 2 day period but was closed on a lengthy basis for more than 6 months.
